Strangers in the Night

Its morning, shouts the alarm!!!
In bed, I still lie calm
You are already in the bathroom
I’ve to use the other room

I’m ready, Oh my hair is not done
gelling the crop I also put perfume
You are in the car, I get
the aroma makes u hume
but to comment u resist
I feel my new cut, you notice
I want to insist,
but the urge to ask I dismiss

On way to work
Talking is a big task
Its been busy day
In the evening, how was the day
I wish, you ask

I come home, its
back to usual ritual
you give me ritual hug
I pour you coffee
in the usual mug

On your chest
my head I rest
our hearts are at mess
wish its just stress
all work and no play
god please bless this bed,
where strangers in the night lay

  18. Again, a very true scenario for a lot of couples. Sad that you missed the deadline! Just a note: If you have an Android app phone, install Blogaway. Its an on the go blogging app for Blogger. Very convenient. You can blog whenever you have time and then save it as draft and publish on the final day. Then the only thing pending would be to post a comment on blog-a-ton!

  19. Very nice, buddy :) This is the kind of poem I understand. I struggle so much with those hi-fi poems.

What you've written is so easy to understand and relateable. I feel bad you did not post in time... else I am sure this would have fetched you some votes :)

See you in the next BAT.

  24. hmmm... you know this kinda situation is so rampant among married couples!!! Kinda scary actually. ut nevertheless, you have beautifully and in a very simply manner put forth he situation.

There is love and a load of hesitation, which has been beautifully expressed.. and this line "God please bless this bed, where strangers in the night lay" ... was the dil ko chu lene waali type .. :)
