55 Fiction # 25 ~ Nonjudgmental

I am participating in A to Z Challenge 2016 where we write 26 posts in a month each day on one word from A to Z barring Sunday's. Today's word is "N".

My theme is “Human Characteristics”.  Today I chose “Nonjudgmental”.

"Observing them for a long time, he said, “Don’t mind, since last hour your teenage son is not able to say a single sentence without a stutter, why don’t you take him to a doctor. The father turned around and calmly replied, just got his vocals operated, today is his 5th day at speech therapy."

~ KARAN

This is a very simple thing that if we keep in mind saves us lot of embarrassment and also keeps away any negativity. One should never be judgmental about others as you don’t know on what ground they stand. An obese man may have been facing the side-effect of some medications and therefore it is not wise to assume and make a judgment about him that he is so unfit and must always be binging upon junk food being careless about his health.

  1. Well said Karan! Being Judgemental is indeed a very negative way of thinking! One must look for the positive traits in any person and highlight that.

  2. I like non judgemental a lot. We have no idea what the other person is going through and don't know how we would behave in their shoes. Very relevant.

  3. Parents should never be 'questioned' by anyone .. Because the o e who questions will most probably be wrong .

  4. We all have our struggles in life, being considerate of this fact can help make so much better to live in.
Being judgmental can only bring grief and strife which is totally avoidable.

  5. Rightly said! All of us seem to have become so judgemental. We assume the reason for a person to behave in a certain manner and don't make the effort to find out the real reason and help them instead.

It's exceedingly difficult to find nonjudgmental people, but it is always great to strive to become one.
